PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive IC card with which stable communication characteristic can be always obtained without being affected by metal, etc., approaching to the rear side of the card without using a microstrip antenna. SOLUTION: Stable communication can be always executed without being affected by approach of the metal and human hands, etc., to the rear side of the card by forming antenna patterns 10a, 10b which constitute a dipole antenna and a custom IC to perform communication via the antenna, etc., on a surface sheet 4 and a metalic layer 18 on a rear sheet 6 stacked on the rear side of a spacer 8 in the IC card 3 constituted by stacking the formed surface of the antenna patterns 10a, 10b and the dipole antenna on the spacer 8 to be a card base plate. Thickness of the spacer 8 is set to be equal to or below a half wavelength of a carrier wave, preferably within the range of 3mm to 20mm. |
