PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain image pickup, recording and reproduction of a stereoscopic image through the use of an existing VTR by providing a conversion means that receives alternatively a 1st or 2nd video signal and converts the received signal into a 3rd video signal sensed as a stereoscopic image and a 2nd output terminal or the like from which the video signal is outputted. SOLUTION: The image pickup device is provided with a conversion means 9 that receives alternatively a 1st or 2nd video signal and converts the received signal into a 3rd video signal sensed as a stereoscopic image on a monitor and a 2nd output terminal 11 or the like from which the 3rd video signal is outputted. Then a video signal from a video signal processing circuit 5 or a video signal from an external video signal input terminal 8 is fed to a conversion circuit 9 via a changeover switch 7. On the other hand, in the case of the 3D exclusive mode, outputs from 1st and 2nd output terminals 910, 911 are outputted from a 3D output terminal 10 provided to the image pickup device 2 simultaneously. Furthermore, in the case of the time division mode, only an output from the 1st output terminal 910 is outputted from the time division output terminal 11 and fed to a general-purpose monitor M2. |
