PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical pickup device which prevents external light from entering and which prevents stray light from being generated by a method wherein a beam splitter and a cylindrical lens are housed in a holder which is colored in black. SOLUTION: A beam splitter 10 and a cylindrical lens 13 are fixed to a holder 17 so that an information signal, a focus error signal and a track error signal are detected at high speed and with good accuracy. The holder 17 is colored in black as a whole so as to prevent stray light from being generated at the inside. A lens mounting part 18 which is used to mount the cylindrical lens 13 is formed at the inside of the holder 17, and, in addition, a beam-splitter mounting part 19B which is used to mount the beam splitter 10 is formed. In addition, an optical-path hole 20A through which a laser luminous flux passed through the cylindrical lens 13 leaves and through which reflected light enters is formed at the inside of the holder 17. In addition, also an optical-path opening part 21 through which the laser luminous flux enters is formed. |
