METHOD OF PREPARING RUBBER COMPOUND

FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: aim of invention consists in obtaining a rubber stock using additives of non-vulcanized rubber-cord waste and simultaneously increasing performance of produced objects, for example, pneumatic tires resulted from additional reinforcement and raise of elasticity and rigidity characteristics of tires. As additives, of use are wastes of polyamide and viscose rubber- covered non-vulcanized cords that are crushed and treated on rotor pulverizer of tire-cut type. Material is twice passed through 6-8- mm clearance between mobile and stationary knives, then processed on two crushing rollers by means of 3-4-fold passing through 0.35- 0.65-mm gap. The thus prepared sheet 3.5-6.5 mm thick is crushed on a rotor crusher of noodles-cut type with 0.2-0.3 mm gap between mobile slope knives and a stationary one mounted on the drum. After additional processing and crushing on crushing rollers and on noodles-cut-type crusher, crushed mass is used as additives in amount of 2-10 weight parts per 100 weight parts of the rubber. To enhance effect of orientation of threads and fibers along the sheet, one of the second couple of rollers is made smooth. Crushing of the sheet on noodles-cut-type crusher is performed transversely to threads oriented by "calender effect" when processing on crush rollers. EFFECT: improved quality of produce; reduced cost due to utilized waste.
