Hydraulic brake pressure control system for motor vehicle

The hydraulic brake system has brake lines (15,20) between the master brake cylinder (13) and the wheel brakes with a first set of solenoid valves (25,33,37,44) to isolate the separate wheel brakes from the master cylinder. A second set of solenoid valves (27,39) between the first set of solenoid valves and the wheel cylinders control a return flow connection to fluid reservoirs, from which fluid is pumped back into the master cylinder circuit. The second set of solenoid valves are designed to open under a set pressure difference without solenoid drive. When the hydraulic circuit is filled with hydraulic fluid it is pumped out by the return pumps. During this the second set of solenoid valves operates as bleed valves to allow extraction of air and fluid and which close when the suction pressure is removed.
