The invention pertains to the use of transferrin glycans, particularly human transferring glycans for the production of eutrophic drug compositions. They allow the toxic effects of cytotoxic drugs, e.g. cyclosporin, when used at high dosages or over prolonged times, to be alleviated or even suppressed.
