PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium recording technology recording programs ranging over plural recording mediums and its reproducing technology. SOLUTION: This device reproduces concerned programs from plural recording mediums in which programs having branching structures related to plural file blocks are recorded separately so that file blocks of one or move them two blocks can be reproduced following the reproducing of one file block. At this time, in a first recording medium A, when file blocks (n-2∼n) equivalent to the last of the banching structure are reproduced, file information specifying the concerned file blocks are stored and when a second recording medium B is reproduced following the first recording medium, the reproducing of the concerned second recording medium B is started by selecting file blocks (N+k-2∼n+k) corresponding to the file information.
