PRODUCTION OF BELT-LIKE PETROLEUM ASPHALT ROOF MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a stable and flexible product by forming a pressure difference between one face of a support face and another face at a distance from at least one portion of the support face and impregnating high temp. petroleum asphalt into a carrier material. SOLUTION: Evacuation rooms 12, 13, 14 are arranged just under an upper part path of a screen belt 2. A partitioning device 16 partitions the petroleum asphalt 17 over the whole width of a conveying machine 1. The high temp. petroleum asphalt flows on the belt-like carrier material 10 mounted on a screen belt 2 at a certain degree of distance from a starting point of a conveying path being in the vicinity of a first evacuation room 12. The high temp. petroleum asphalt 17 is impregnated into the belt-like carrier material 10 and is adsorbed, because pressure drop continues in the evacuation rooms 12, 13, 14. The carrier material 10 is perfectly dipped with the petroleum asphalt 17, thus a flexible material can be used as the carrier material.
