<p>The system forms an installation or unit of small capacity for the controlled incineration of solid urban waste, with production of water or hot air for other uses, gas scrubbing with recycling of the washing water as well as recovery of metals and glass for recycling taking place in the actual installation. The system comprises an autocombustion chamber 1 with conduits 34 for the circulation of water or cold air for cooling, and it also comprises a post combustion chamber 9 where the gases are heated to 850 degree C in order, subsequently, to be cooled and scrubbed in a tower 17 and made to pass through a turbowasher/extractor towards a dedusting cyclone 25 before emerging into the atmosphere by means of a chimney. Said cyclone 25, in its lower part, emerges in a tank 31 where the sludges settle before being collected in a reservoir 30. It also has a heat exchanger 32. Combustion air is injected into the combustion chamber 1 by means of a fan 13 which is heated by the actual gases from combustion of the waste. <IMAGE></p> |
