PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reconcile the miniaturization or abolishment of a brake booster and the ensuring of a high wheel braking force by providing a second amplifying means for intensifying the brake hydraulic pressure added to a wheel braking force generating means to a second brake hydraulic pressure and transmitting it to the wheel braking force generating means. SOLUTION: The amplifying action of operating force by a brake booster 2 corresponding to a first amplifying means is performed to a low braking area to wheel braking force, and the amplifying action by a pressure boosting means 100 corresponding to a second amplifying means is performed to a high braking area to wheel braking force. The brake booster 2 having not very large power action is adapted to ensure the braking of general area by the brake booster 2, whereby the braking of this general area can be smoothed according to the feeling of an occupant, and a sudden braking can be also reconciled by executing the pressure boosting means 100 as the second amplifying means in the state where a vehicle is wanted to be suddenly braked. |
