PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grade up a dictionary of approved words contained in a vendor data base by checking periodically the words in their data base. SOLUTION: The entries of a data base 303 of requested words are constructed into a priority list that is ranked by the number of requests of every words, i.e., the 'request count'. Then the selected words are displayed on a vendor computer monitor for the specialists. At the same time, a dialog box where three choices are given is also displayed. That is, the selected words are added to a data base 301 of approved words and deleted from a list 303 of proposed words (1), the selected words are added to a data base 302 of misspelled words and deleted from the list 303 (2), and the decision of words are delayed and a request count is reset at 1 (3). A selection number 3 has an effect to displace a word to the lowest rank of the priority list. |
