PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying device capable of improving reliability of electrification by preventing generation of ozone and uneven electrification. SOLUTION: In this electrifying device adopted for an image forming device obtaining the image by uniformly performing the initial electrification on a photoreceptor, forming the pattern of the electrostatic charge modulated correspondingly to the image signal while partially erasing the initial electrification, developing the pattern with use of toner, and transferring on recording paper directly or through an intermediate transfer body, the device is provided with an electromagnetic wave emitting device 42 for emitting the electromagnetic wave in a space vicinity of the photoreceptor, an air flow generating device 46 for generating the air flow in the space and an electric field forming means 45 forming the electric field in the space. |
