PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To require no drying heater, decrease the number of component parts and lower a production cost by carrying out a drying process using the catalyst heater of a a catalyst deodorizer for a heating source of hot air. SOLUTION: The odor gas of garbage generated under heating in the garbage container 4 of a drying chamber 1 enters a catalyst deodorizer 2 through an inlet pipe 11 from an inlet port 10 by driving a hot air fan 15 and realizing the positive pressure of the drying chamber 1. The odor gas in the catalyst deodorizer 2 is heated to 400 to 500 deg.C by a catalyst heater 7, fed to a catalyst layer 6 and an odor component is deodorized. Then, deodorized gas passes through an exhaust pipe 13 and is exhausted to outside air from an exhaust port 12. The heating and drying operation of the garbage is carried out by radiating the heat of the deodorized gas at a high temperature entering the exhaust pipe 13 from the catalyst layer 6 into the drying chamber 1 through the exhaust pipe 13 and applying hot air to the garbage by the hot air fan 15 as a blowing means. |
