PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an electronic camera to conduct panorama synthesis of a plurality of images and to print out the result. SOLUTION: An image pickup element 206 picks up a plurality of images so as to be overlapped partly, a DSP 210 processes the image and stores the result to a memory 214. When a switch 230 is depressed to instruct panorama synthesis and print-out, a system control circuit 220 extracts a plurality of the images from the memory 214, extract corresponding points to obtain an overlapped area thereby synthesizing the images. In this case, the images are connected for each lateral line and the connected images are fed to a printer 234 sequentially via a printer I/F 232. |
