PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a connecting part between a toner carrying auger and a drive shaft rotating it to rotate smoothly without being affected by waste toner. SOLUTION: The connecting part 30 between the toner carrying auger 53 and agitator shaft 35 rotating it has a mechanism in which a pin gear 54 fixed to one end of the toner carrying auger 53 and a pin gear 55 fixed to the agitator shaft 35 mesh together. Thus, even in the case the connecting part 30 is arranged in a waste-toner storage part 49, toner clogging does not occur between their teeth even if the toner enters the meshing parts of the pin gears 54 and 55. Therefore, the toner carrying auger 53 is rotated by the agitator shaft 35 smoothly at all times. |
