PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplexer capable of PCR(program clock reference) correction without receiving a reference clock from an encoder. SOLUTION: A reference clock source 7 is provided within this device 2, and a TS(transport stream) packet inputting time measuring part 8 and a TS packet outputting scheduled time arithmetic part 9 measure and calculate the arriving time and the outputting scheduled time of the TS packet based on a reference clock outputted from the source 7. Then a PCR correction part 10 calculates a PCR corrected value based on these arriving time and outputting scheduled time and adds this corrected value to original PCR to correct PCR. Thus, the device 2 unnecessitates the transmission of the reference clock toward this device 2 from the encoder 101. |
