PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform readily understandable route guidance at a guiding point such as an intersection. SOLUTION: A guidance-image forming means 14 in a navigator 10 extracts the road data of a guiding point from a map database 13 and forms the image for three-dimensional display. The image in corresponding with the landmark extracted by a landmark extracting means 15 is read out of a memory 16 and added to the map data. A display changing means 17 chnges the display of a building 17 to the display so that a road 33 to become the advancing route can be seen when the added building 37 blocks the road 33 to become the advancing route. |
