PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain big and effective damping effect by forming an extending part which is over hung from the end part of a damping rotor a hollow part, on the end part of a thrust collar, in a rotating machine having the detachable thrust collar, and assenabling the static side of a damping device with the extending part. SOLUTION: In a rotating machine such as a compressor and a turbine, a shaft 1 is rotatably supported by a bearing device 10 having a bearing metal 11, a bearing housing 12, and a bearing base 25. In the shaft 1, a thrust collar 2 is fixed by a set screw 3, and it is rotatably supported by a thrust bearing device 60. In this case, the end part of the thrust collar 2 extends so as to form the installing part of the damper device. The extending part thereof is installed on the shaft 1 in a system for over hanging from the end part of the shaft 1 at a hollow part, the static side of the damper device having the damping movable ring 71 and a damper housing 63 and the extending part are assembled with each other, and thereby, effective damping effect is realized. |
