<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coordinate reader, status converting method for the same, interface device for the same, and coordinate reading system in which any specified function can be easily set to a switch installed at a coordinate indicator. SOLUTION: A coordinate detection part 21 detects the coordinate value and switch status at the position instructed by a coordinate indicator 3. It is judged from the coordinate value and status by a function selecting means 22 that a menu installed on a tablet 2 is read, and function data allocated to the menu are stored in a storage means 23. A conversion status judging means 24 judges the inputted status is coincident with the status to be converted stored in the storage means 23, and that coincidence is reported to a conversion status output means 25. While receiving this report, the conversion status output means 25 outputs data to be outputted stored in the storage means 23 in place of the inputted switch status.</p> |
