PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output desired torque to a drive shaft regardless of the direction of revolution of the drive shaft, in a power output shaft equipped with a first motor for electromagnetically coupling the output shaft of a prime mover with the drive shaft and a second motor installed on the drive shaft. SOLUTION: When a shift position sensor 84 detects a shift lever 82 being in the position of reverse, the brake mechanism 57 attached a crank shaft 56 controlled that the crank shaft 56 may not rotate, and also a crank motor 30 and an assist motor 40 are controlled so that the torque working in the reverse direction to the rotation of an engine 50 may be outputted to the drive shaft 22. Also when driving the drive shaft 22 in reverse direction, both motors 30 and 40 can output torque to the drive shaft 22, so the torque up to the torque of the sum of the maximum torque of both motors 30 and 40 can be outputted to the drive shaft 22, regardless of the direction of revolution of the drive shaft 22. |
