Aircraft wheel pre-spinning system for accelerating wheels prior to landing

The system comprises cavities (10) fixed in a honeycomb on the internal top edge of the rim (9) of each wheel (4). A force is exerted on these cavities by compressed air transported through brass pipes (7) coming from the high pressure compressor discharging valve. The brass pipes are fixed along the axle shaft tubes and reach the wheel bogie through flexible connections. The compressed air is previously cooled by radiators supplied by engine fan. The pipes of the discharge spider (11) fixed on the brake unit (14) situated on the wheel hub redirects the air previously directed onto the cavities through air nozzles (12).
