Demodulation method for single side band signal

The demodulation method involves using a phase method with a Hilbert transformation. This is followed by a calibration which is used to provide correction values for the offset errors of both signal components of the quadrature signal, a correction value for the amplification error of one quadrature signal component and a correction value for the phase error of the other quadrature signal component. A complex quadrature signal with a lower frequency is obtained via analogue quadrature mixing. This is then converted into a digital signal, before compensation via the stored error values, with formation of the sum or difference of the in-phase component and the Hilbert transformation of the quadrature component.
