Demountable frame for picture

The frame is especially used for holding a picture. It has a backing sheet (1) which lies behind the picture (3). A transparent cover sheet (4), especially made of plastics lies just in front of the picture to protect it from the environment. A frame (2) with a rectangular central aperture covers the edges of the protective sheet and the picture. There may be two or more small circular apertures in the edges of the frame and the backing plate which accommodate fastening buttons (5,6) which snap together. The backing plate may have apertures (9) near the top which accommodate picture hangers.
