<p>PURPOSE:To automatically execute a reactivation when the fact that the measuring error of a blood pressure value is large is judged and to resume a blood pressure monitor as speedily as possible by successively deciding the blood pressure value of an organism based on the magnitude of an actual pulse wave signal outputted from an optimum pressure sensitive element. CONSTITUTION:Whether an artery is positioned within the arranging range of the pressure sensitive element or not is decided by a first deciding means, and whether to decide the optimum thrust pressure of a pulse wave sensor or not again is decided based on the pulse wave signal outputed from the pressure sensitive element by a second deciding means. Whether the above-mentioned relation is necessary to be obtained again or not is decided based on the pulse wave signal by a third deciding means. When the decision of the first deciding means is affirmed by a reactivating means, a pulse wave sensor positioning device, a thrust pressure adjusting means and a relation deciding means are successively operated, and when the decision of the first deciding means is denied and the decision of the second deciding means is affirmed, the thrust pressure adjusting means and relation deciding means are successively operated, and when the decisions of the first and second deciding means are denied and when the decision of the third deciding means is affirmed, the relation deciding means is operated.</p> |
