The invention features a device (2) for reducing the length and the width of a cot (1). The device (2) comprises a transversal element (3) with a structure capable of cushioning shocks and to be located across the cot (1). Each end of the transversal element comprises first catching means to co-operate with a cot side element, so as to maintain the transversal element across the bed. The device (2) also enables the width reduction of the cot by means of a longitudinal element (4, 5) of flexible material, to be located on at least one side of the cot. |
