PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for molding a tire in which a continuous extending over each block is formed and a fine frame is not broken and omitted by pres sure in casting and the smooth free from a step and a coaner is formed and to provide a method for providing the die. SOLUTION: A die for molding a tire is equipped with a fine frame 12 for forming a sipe. A part of the fine frame 12 consisting of iron-based material is cast into the body 18 of the die consisting of aluminum alloy. Slits 20 are formed in suitable intervals in the parts of the fine frame 12 cast into the body 18 of the die. The die for molding the tire is produced by putting the fine frame 12 into a groove corresponding to the sipe provided in a gypsum casting mold in a state in which the parts having the slits 20 are exposed and thereafter pouring a molten metal of an aluminum alloy into the gypsum casting mold and performing casting. |
