<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a door locking device by arranging a sealing material of the fluid of different viscosity according to the magnitude of the shear velocity between a door lock body and an opening member. SOLUTION: The dilatant fluid 40 is fixed to a door lock body 2, and a movable part 42 is connected to an opening member 32. When a vehicle is collided from its side, an outside handle is moved in the opening direction and a rod 4 is moved downward to move an open lever 5 downward. Though a lever 30 is turned counterclockwise, the turning is controlled when the impact force not less than the prescribed level is generated because the lever 30 is connected to the movable part 42. The downward movement of the lever 5 is eliminated, and because a projected piece 6 of the lever 5 is not engaged with an end part 7 of a release lever 3, the release lever 3 is not turned counterclockwise, and the opening system is not operated. Thus, a conventional rotary member to be operated by the inertia force can be dispensed with, and the structure can be simplified.</p> |
