PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric ceramics compsn. capable of firing together with a conductor metal such as Ag or Cu, having a high specific inductive capacity and a high Q value in a high-frequency region, excellent also in temp. characteristics of resonance frequency and capable of ensuring further reduced size and enhanced performance of a high-frequency electronic circuit board. SOLUTION: A multiple oxide contg. at least Ba, Zn, Mg, W and Ta as metallic elements and represented by the formula aBaO.bZnO.cNb2 O5 .dMgO.eWO3 .fTa2 O5 [where (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f) show the molar ratio among the metal oxides, and are 0.43<=a<=0.68, 0.01<=b<=0.30, 0<=c<=0.30, 0<d<=0.35, 0<e<=0.35, 0<f<=0.35, 0.50<=(b+d)/(c+e+f)<=1.60 and a+b+c+d+e+ f=1] is prepd. as a base and a boron-contg. compd. and an alkali metal-contg. compd. are added to 100 pts.wt. of the base by 1-10 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of B2 O3 ) and 1-10 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of carbonate of the alkali metal), respectively. |
