PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize the whole power transmission by changeover-operating a forward-reverse switching device in the power cut-off state of a clutch device interlockingly with forward or reverse shift operation, and putting the clutch device in a power transmission state after this changeover operation. SOLUTION: When a change-over switch is switched from a forward position to a reverse position or reversely, a control device 40 maintains a clutch device 20 temporarily in a power cut-off state interlockingly with this operation. In this state (in the free state of members positioned from the clutch device 20 to propeller shafts 14, 15 without being rotatory-driven), a forward-reverse switching device 30 is changeover-operated, and the clutch device 20 is placed in a power transmission state after this changeover operation, so that a shift to each forward or reverse operating state can be performed silently and smoothly. The whole power transmission can be miniaturized because of using only one large clutch device 20 for transmitting driving torque. |
