The end mill for machining a cavity in a sheet of plastic material has, machined on the end of a cylindrical metal rod (1), in one case, a primary tooth (10) placed in a radial plane (P) at the end of the rod (1) for cutting into the thickness of the sheet. It also has a secondary tooth (20) displaced laterally according to a generatrix of the rod (1) for cutting the outline of the cavity.
