PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm whether or not a warning zone of a thermal ray sensor is formed at a desired position. SOLUTION: A camera 4 is fitted to a reflecting mirror 2 of a thermal ray sensor 1. A signal generator 5 superimposes a pattern signal of a warning zone generated by the reflecting mirror 2 on a video signal from the camera 4 and the resulting signal is displayed on a monitor 6. Thus, whether or not a warning zone of a thermal ray sensor is formed at a desired position is confirmed by having only to observe a screen of the monitor 6.
