PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument with good visibility and operationability by installing a drawing type operation panel on the front face or the side face of the box body of a rack-type electronic musical instrument wit a small box shape and installing a display apparatus and various kinds of operational elements in the operation panel. SOLUTION: The drawing type operation panel 5 is installed on the front face or the side face of a box body of, for example, a rack-type electronic musical instrument with a small box shape in a way the panel can be freely put in and out to keep a wide space of a face in which a display apparatus is installed. Then, a large number of operational elements 4, a large size display apparatus 2, a fader 3, a track ball 6, etc., are made possible to be installed on the upper face of the operation panel 5. Moreover utilizing the wide operation panel 5 face, operational elements 4 such as a cursor, switches, etc., directly related to the operation of the display apparatus 2 installed on the face of the operation panel 5 can be installed in the operation panel 5 face, so that operation can be carried out while observing the display apparatus 2 from the upper side and thus an electronic musical instrument with excellent operationability like a key-board type can be obtained. |
