PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide excellent charging and discharging characteristics by using specified non-cyclic carbonic ester as a non-aqueous electrolyte solvent. SOLUTION: In this non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery, non-cyclic carbonic ester, which is expressed with a formula: R<1> OCOOR<2> , is used as a non-aqueous electrolyte solvent. In the formula, one or both of R<1> and R<2> is monovalent hydrocarbon radical with 2-4 carbon having at least one C=C double bond, in which a part or all of hydrogen atom can be substituted with halogen atom. But in the case where both of R<1> and R<2> are hydrocarbon radical, R<1> and R<2> can be the same one or different one from each other. In the case where only one of R<1> and R<2> is hydrocarbon radical, the other is an alkyl group with 1-4 carbon, which can have a substituent group. |
