PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a page of an original optionally and to output information according to the changed page by providing a means to change a page of received character data and image data based on a command operation of the user. SOLUTION: When a generated document file is read from a hard disk unit 16 and a page desired to be added to a binder is designated optionally, document data consisting of one page of a plurality of pages are received by the binder. Pages are provided to the document data or image data depending on the application software or the like of a wordprocessor generating the data and the page sequence is not the desired output sequence. Then the user operates an operation section 18 to make a page change command operation thereby changing page information of the document data and the image data. When the user makes the transmission instruction operation to the operation section 18, data received by the binder are read from the hard disk unit 16 and stored in a RAM 13, and coded-processed, modulated by a MODEM 28 and sent to a telephone line 32. |
