PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save power consumption by executing abbreviated input of transaction data such as an account name at the terminal of a branch office of a financial facility not only by using an abbreviated code but also by selecting a candidate through the use of a leading character and an attribute. SOLUTION: An input judging means 71 analyzes inputted data to decide a retrieving processing section and a retrieval control means 73 executes retrieval according to the decided section. At the time a compacted code is input, a retrieving table for abbreviated codes 5 is retrieved to obtain a stored address, transaction data is obtained from the pertinent address in a storing table 4 for transaction data to be abbreviated to be stored in a transaction data temporarily storing part 75, and transaction data is displayed in an input item. At the time of inputting by the leading character, a retrieving table for an attribute/leading character 6 is retrieved by obtaining the attribute from a picture inputting item attribute judging means 72, and transaction data is obtained from the storing table 4. When obtained data is plural, it is stored in a transaction data candidate temporarily storing part 74, a selective menu is picture-displayed. Defined transaction data is stored in an input data temporarily storing part 9. |
