The present invention discloses a fastening means, for example a nut means, for the fixation thereof to a plate-shaped component, wherein an end face of the fastening device comprises a recess inside an elevated contact surface, and a plurality of projections and notches are provided on a lateral wall of said recess. The base surface of the recess extends to the drill of said fastening device without the presence of a guide portion, and a plurality of recesses are provided on the contact surface to resist rotation. A die button which performs as a fixation means for the fastening device to a plate-shaped component comprises a hole forming bullpoint projection having a plurality of salients distributed about the periphery of the transition region to the flat surface of the die button. After the hollow means is fixed to the plate-shaped component on a press, a metallic sheet piece is perforated by means of the hole forming bullpoint and fixedly molded by the die button, particularly by the hole forming bullpoint projection thereof inside the the hollow means recess. The connection produced by this process is particularly suitable for metallic sheet pieces which are subjected to variable functioning loads, and comprises a high resistance to loosening by torsion and extraction.
