The invention features a cross-linked elastomer capable of thermoplastic transformation and the method of manufacture and uses thereof. The said cross-linked elastomer capable of thermoplastic transformation is charactrised in that it comprises at least one elastomer polymerised by one metallocene catalyst and one graft polyolefin. The invention offers numerous industrial applications, particularly in the manufacture of insulating and/or sealing joints and fittings such as those used for heat or sound insulation, and/or water and damp proofing as well as ducts, tubes, pipes, unious and the like for the transfer of fluids.
