PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graphic plotter with which plotting can be performed without any complicated processing while keeping constant desired line width with high accuracy regardlessly of a plotting angle. SOLUTION: At a reference line scanning part 2, coordinates are successively generated from a starting point. At such a time, a distance calculating part 3 calculates the distance between the starting points, and a normal vector generating part 4 finds a normal vector by rotating the coordinate, which is generated until exceeding the line width, by a 90 deg.. Besides, an oblique scan discriminating part 5 discriminates whether the generated coordinate is set at an oblique position or not and in the case of oblique position, a normal vector deformation discriminating part 6 discriminates whether or not the normal vector is to be deformed so that the error of length of the normal vector to the line width can be more reduced. The normal vector is deformed by a normal vector deforming part 7. Based on the discrimination of the normal vector deformation discriminating part 6, a normal vector plotting part 9 plots either the normal vector or the deformed normal vector for each coordinate generated by the reference line scanning part 2. |
