MOLDING FOR FUSION WELDING AND METHOD FOR FUSION WELDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a tube and molding made of thermoplastic resin (particularly PFA or FEP) to be fusion welded surely in a short time without any skill while employing an electromagnetic induction heating system. SOLUTION: A molding 1 is used for fusion welding a tube. The molding 1 has a through hole 11 formed in the inlet side with wide inner diameter part 11a and on the depth side with narrow inner diameter part 11b to provide a stage 11c between both parts. A ring 2 made of a material heated electromagnetically is embedded in the wide diameter part 11a side of a position between the depth side somewhat deeper than the inlet of the wide diameter part 11a of the through hole and the stage 11c to be almost flush with the wide diameter part 11a of the through hole. The ring 2 has a plurality of radial through holes 2a, while the end of the ring 2 at the stage 11c side has claws 2b bulging to the wide diameter part 11a of the through hole.
