PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress enlargement of a circuit scale by providing a format converting means for converting an input data into a different format form based on format information obtained by a format information extracting means. SOLUTION: Recorded data and information about its format conversion are processed by a 1st recording/reproducing circuit 105, and the processed data is transferred via a bus interface 102 to an objective device. When a data formatted in a 1st form by a recording device 1 is an image, a sound and a character, etc., the data is sent to a data processing device 100. The sent data is inputted to the processing device 100, and the information about the 1st format conversion by the recording device 1 is extracted by a format converting information extractor 202 from the input data. The formatted data is converted into its original data by a format converter 201. The converted original data is outputted to a data processing circuit 101 to be processed. |
