PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the IC card reader/writer with a MODEM making electronic money account with other IC card connected through a telephone line and in which insertion/withdrawal of an IC card is facilitated. SOLUTION: A display section 365 and an operation section 366 having ten- keys and control keys or the like are provided to an upper face of a main body case 361, and IC card slots 362, 363 for insertion of IC cards 10, 10' are provided respectively to a side face at this side of a case and a depth of the case. Various function sections connecting to a telephone line in the two IC cards 10, 10' and processing the electronic money are provided in the inside of the case. An IC card receptacle section 364 having the IC card slot 363 in the inside is formed cylindrical and turned at an angle at which the IC card 10' is easily inserted. |
