CONNECTION RACK FOR HIGH TRANSMISSION SPEEDS

The connection rack can be applied in telecommunication engineering and in technology for data transmission. By it, the cross modulation and cross-talk are effectively reduced and the assembly to the knife-type terminal contact elements both of the screening plates and of the cable cores is considerably facilitated. The rack has a plastic body (1) having positioned at least one row of chambers (2) for the knife-type terminal contact elements (28) and slots (25) fitted in the lateral walls (27) between the chambers (2) passing by parallel axes towards them for the screening plates (24). Chambers (2) of one and the same connection section (26) are fitted at the shortest possible distance d from each other in body (1), and slots (25) for getting through of the screening plates (24) in the lateral wall (27) between the respective two adjacent connection sections (26) are machined on the lower side (23). Distance d between chambers (2) of one connecting section (26) is considerably shorter than distance D between the chambers (2) of the adjacent connection sections (26).
