<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform easy and effective backup operation when importance is classified by providing a power source distribution part which detects an alarm generated by an uninterrupted power source in case of main power source abnormality and supplies secondary electric power from the uninterruptive power source to only a subrack of high importance. SOLUTION: The uninterruptive power source 2 detects an alarm when primary power source (a) supplied from a main power source 1 is abnormal and outputs a primary-side power abnormality alarm (c) to a CONF switching part 7 in the power source distribution part 5 of the multimedia multiplexing device 3. The CONF switching part 7 gives importance by subracks 6 and sets CONF in advance. The CONF switching part 7 having received the primary-side power source abnormality alarm (c) from the uninterruptive power source 2 gives importance by the subracks 6 and switches the CONF so that only a subrack of high importance in the CONF is put in operation while cutting electric power to others.</p> |
