PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an initialization on one melody based on the sound source parameters and to minimize a blank time between melodies when plural melodies are performed successively in a music performance device actually generating musical sound based on performance data supplied in time series. SOLUTION: A transmitter part 140 transfers performance data M1 on a first melody and a sound parameter OP2 on a second melody by adding a header indicating from which sequencer they are outputted to respective data M1 and parameter OP2, while the transferred sound source parameter OP2 is stored in a parameter bank 232 corresponding to the header added to the sound source parameter, and after the first melody is finished based on the performance data M1, a performance data M2 on the second melody is transferred, and when musical sound is generated based on the performance data M2, an initialization is performed based on the initialized data stored in the parameter bank 232 corresponding to the header added to the performance data. |
