<p>A cosmetic composition in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion comprising: (a) continuous oil phase and; (b) discontinuous aqueous phase comprising (i) water; (ii) acidic skin care active which is insoluble in said aqueous phase; and (iii) nonionic surfactant selected from polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene ethers of C4-C22 alcohols, and mixtures thereof. The compositions of the invention provide increased product stability and improved acidic skin care active solubility.</p> |
