Automatic connecting rod for tension coupling for rail vehicles

The connector consists of a swivelable knee (1) on which the support of the tension coupling is fixed. A rod linkage (2) or other component conveys longitudinal forces. The swivelable knee (1) is rotatably assembled about the vertical axle (3) underneath the head piece (4) of a rail vehicle in the longitudinal axle (19). The knee is connected with the bogie of the rail vehicle, by force conveying elements, such as rod linkage and further bolt connections (5,5'). The connection is made in such a way that in a bogie deflection in rail curve, the swivelable rod linkage turns in the same direction as the bogie.
