The method involves reducing the speed to a minimum over the adjustment path section (s) from the fully closed position to the almost completely closed position by specifying an appropriate electrical current and/or voltage which defines the power and whilst preventing the motor (1) from stopping. At least one of the two parameters defining the power is not changed by the switching stage over the range between the two defined positions or sections of the adjustment path.
