A right-angled electrical connector housing (1) having a plurality of contacts (11) has a connection end face (2) and a mounting end face (3) arranged at right angles thereto. The contacts (11) are connected in the connection region (13) by means of a pressing connection on a plated through-hole in a support. The connector housing (1) has a pressure hood (10) between the connection end face (2) and the mounting end face (3). A supporting element (16) with a foot (17) is arranged on two mutually opposite side walls (6) of the pressure hood (10). The supporting element (16) has a dovetailed tongue (18) which can be pushed into a complementary groove (19) on the connector housing (1) parallel to the mounting end face (3). The press-fit forces which must be overcome during the pressing connection of the contacts (11) on the support are transmitted from the pressure hood (10) to the connector housing (1). The connector arrangement is used in computer equipment. |
