The invention relates to a magazine (6), in particular to a replaceable magazine on a setting machine for rivets, snap fasteners etc. with a storage chamber (11) and a separating and orientation device for parts (13) of rivets or the like, having a disc-shaped head (14) with protruding pin (15), said device being provided with a vertically moving slide (16) with a sloping slot (20) to accept the heads (14) to be conveyed which lie in the top dead centre of the slide (16) in line with a feeding channel. The slide (16) is driven by a continually running rotating drive unit. In order to improve the feeding process of the rivet parts in the magazine, the invention proposes a cam (29) driven in rotation which, for lifting the slide (16), moves under a jockey roll (37) in such a way that the slide (16) is lowered by gravity. |
