PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the motive power transmitting efficiency in a transient condition by setting the line pressure of a CVT(continuously variable transmitter) providing a fluid transmitting means, at an optimum value constantly. SOLUTION: A CVT 100 furnishing a pair of variable pulleys, in which the contact pulley width of a V-belt is controlled according to the hydraulic pressure, a speed change control means 103 to control the hydraulic pressure according to the operating condition of a vehicle; and a fluid transmitting means 102 provided between the CVT 100 and an engine 101; are provided. And the speed control means 103 furnishes an engine torque operation means 104; a means 105 to operate the torque ratio t from the speed ratio e at the input side and the output side of the fluid transmitting means 102; a means 106 to infer the input torque of the CVT from the torque ratio and the engine torque; a line pressure setting means 107 to set the hydraulic pressure depending on the input torque; and a means 108 to correct the torque ratio according to the variation of the speed ratio. |
